ValueRays® USB Infrared Heat Computer Accessories – Heat Therapy

Mouse Hand Warmer USB warming computer accessories are made with a carbon fibre to produce infrared heat.  Infrared heat is proven to produce healing effects for people who suffer from poor circulation, muscle tension, stress, spasms, artritis, diabetes, Raynaud’s phenomenon, and many other medical conditions with cold hand symptoms.  Our products are designed specifically to address the cold computer hands and cold mouse hand syndrome. If it’s difficult to get out of bed in the morning due to pain, the thought of sitting at the computer all day working with cold hands and painful, numb fingers is dreadful.  Our mission is to offer our clients warming products to help their work day become more enjoyable, less stressful, more soothing, with a minimum amount of tension producing long-term healing effects.

Healing Effects of Infrared Heat

Infrared warming devices like the USB warm mouse and USB warm mouse pad,  warm the hand in the same manner as natural sunlight.  Far Infrared Radiant (FIR) heat relieves pain by expanding blood vessels and increasing circulation. Better circulation allows oxygen to reach injured areas of the hand and helps reduce cold, tension, pain and speeds up the healing process.

The sun’s natural Infrared Rays are capable of penetrating deep into the human body where they elevate  surface temperature and activate healthy body functions. The Far-infrared waves are a safe alternative to natural sun Infrared Rays and a form of light energy that heat objects by direct light conversion – a process to directly warm an object (warm mouse and warm mouse pad), not the surrounding air. Infrared heat rays from the warming mouse and warming mouse pad penetrate the hand, warm the muscles, tissues and dilate the blood arteries.  The infrared heating process allows blood to flow more freely through the cold, painful, tense hand.

Infrared Rays Break Down Toxins

The healing effects of Infrared Heat are proven to detoxify the body, and with the detoxification, there’s improved circulation.  Chronic health problems reduce or disappear.  We all know good blood circulation is important to good health.  If you suffer from muscle cramps in your hands, if your hands are chronically cold, the FIR rays have the ability to penetrate deeply (up to 3 inches) into your hand’s muscle tissue and hand ligaments.

Deep penetrating infrared heat delivers more oxygen to the blood which in turn delivers increased blood flow to painful or injured areas speeding up the body’s natural healing process. The red color of the hand in the photo above illustrates penetrated infrared heat to the hand after 25 minutes of carbon fiber infrared heat treatment.  If you suffer with a cold mouse hand, numb mouse hand fingers due to poor circulation or pain, 20-30 minutes a day is all it usually takes to feel the results.  FIR heat really works!

FIR energy has been effectively used in the relief of hand pain associated with Poor Circulation, Arthritis, Strains, Bursitis, Carpal Tunnel, Tendonitis, Joint and Muscle Injuries, Frozen Numb Fingers, Rheumatism,  Dupuytren’s Contracture, Fibromyalgia, Hypertension, Lactic acid build-up, Osteoarthritis, Plantar Fasciitis, Repetitive Strain Injury, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Sprains, Tension, Stress, High Blood Pressure and many, many more medical conditions with similar symptons.

FIR energy has been effectively used to rid the body of unwanted, harmful environmental toxins and inhibit bacterial growth from these toxic substances.   Far Infrared heat is estimated to be seven times more effective at detoxifying heavy metals such as mercury, aluminum, and even cholesterol’s, nicotine, alcohol, ammonia, sulfuric acid and other environmental toxins from the body.  The FIR energy produced by the warming mouse and warming mouse pad inhibit bacterial growth, stimulate internal healing and reduces or illiminates hand pain altogether.

Infrared heating devices and the healing effects of FIR are becoming more widespread in the USA.  Eastern cultures have been using FIR healing techniques for centuries.  Here’s a quote from Dr. Kyuo of Japan:

“One of the reasons FIR has beneficial results in a variety of illnesses is the ability of FIR waves to remove toxins, which are often at the core of many health problems. Toxins that cannot be removed immediately after they enter the body are encapsulated by clusters of water. Blood circulation becomes blocked and the cellular energy impaired where these toxins accumulate. However, when a 10-micron FIR wave is applied to water molecules containing toxins, the water begins to vibrate. This vibration reduces the ion bonds of the atoms that are holding together the molecules of water. As the breakdown of the water molecules occurs, encapsulated gases and other toxic materials are released. One study done by American researchers showed that the sweat released by users of a FIR sauna  was different that the sweat of people using a conventional sauna or doing normal exercise. The non water portion of sweat released in a FIR sauna was cholesterol, fat soluble toxins, toxic heavy metals, sulfuric acid, sodium, ammonia and uric acid.” – Dr. Kyuo, Japan.

Far Infrared Heat Therapy – The Latest Innovation in Pain Relief, Blood Circulation and Healing
By Richard Chandler, ActiveForever

The proven health and therapeutic benefits of Far Infrared Heat Therapy, while familiar to health professionals, are still a mystery to most consumers. A recent “explosion” of Far Infrared Heat Therapy products on the market has prompted most people to show interest in the benefits of using those products, but like most new technological applications, most are still skeptical as to whether or not these products actually work. The first question most consumers ask is, “What is Infrared Heat?”

What is Infrared Heat?

Infrared is a band of light that we perceive as heat. While we cannot see infrared heat, we can feel its effects. Infrared radiation, or radiant heat, represents over half of the energy emitted by the Sun and is divided into three segments: near, middle, and far.

Infrared rays heat our body by a process called conversion. Through conversion, far infrared heat can penetrate organic substances such as the human body without heating the air in between. You may notice a similar effect on partly cloudy days: when a cloud obscures the sun, you suddenly feel cooler, but the air temperature around you has not had time to be affected. The cloud blocked the sun’s infrared rays from penetrating your body.

By using far infrared heat as opposed to traditional heating methods, you enable the heat to penetrate deeper into your body without the skin discomfort of heating pads, hot towels, and some pain relief gels/creams. However, less discomfort is just one of many benefits of far infrared heat therapy.

What are the benefits of Far Infrared Heat Therapy?

The human body is composed of 90% water. Far infrared rays cause resonance in water molecules, activating them and ionizing them. Because of this effect, Far Infrared Heat Therapy offers a variety of proven health and beauty benefits.

Far Infrared Heat Therapy effectively helps to increase blood circulation without putting strain on your heart and increases the levels of oxygen and white blood cells in your blood. It also stimulates the production of collagen (a building block for human tissue) in your body and helps to rid your body of toxins by causing you to perspire. You get the benefit of a stronger immune system, better cardiovascular health, and a faster ability to heal from soft tissue injuries such as tears, pulls, and sprains. Believe it or not, Far Infrared Heat Therapy also serves as an effective way to help cure hangovers.

The penetrating heat of Far Infrared Heat Therapy can be used as a beauty treatment as well. It reduces the appearance of crow’s feet, fine lines, and wrinkles. In addition to helping heal scars, wounds, and cuts, it also smoothes your skin’s texture, lessens coarseness, and reduces pore size.

Far Infrared Heat Therapy penetrates deep into soft tissue, making it an ideal source of arthritis pain relief. Athletes and the elderly will benefit from an effective means of loosening sore muscles and stiff joints without the use of ointments or creams that can burn and have an unpleasant odor. Those who suffer from rheumatoid arthritis, ALS, Lou Gehrig’s Disease, and Parkinson’s Disease can enjoy an easy to use form of pain relief. In addition to making you perspire and removing toxins from your body, Far Infrared Heat Therapy serves as a means of weight loss and cellulite reduction for those who cannot exercise due to health concerns or mobility issues.

How is Far Infrared Heat Therapy administered?

Thanks to the demand for pain relief applications as well as the growing knowledge and popularity of Infrared Heat Therapy, a wide variety of products are available to help you enjoy the benefits of this technology. Ranging in price from as low as $80 to as high as $2,600, Far Infrared Heat Therapy technology is used in handheld devices, stationary systems, products with built in massagers, and even highly effective home saunas.

The Light Relief® is an example of a handheld infrared therapy device. It uses either an AC adapter or batteries and can be held against your body with your hand or attached to your body using the long strap included with the product. It is a great solution for targeting pain in specific areas such as your joints, hands, and neck.

The DPL – Deep Penetrating Light Therapy System is a device that consists of two large panels, mounted on a stand, that contain dozens of infrared LED lights. The DPL can sit on a table to apply the skin-related benefits of infrared therapy to your face, or the two panels can be removed and either held or strapped to the body. When removed from the stand, the two infrared panels are ideal for relieving pain, healing, and increasing circulation in larger parts of the body such as the lower back, the upper back, thighs, shoulders, and abs.

Perhaps the most effective form of Far Infrared Heat Therapy, the Far Infrared Home Sauna offers many more benefits than any other device. Unlike traditional saunas that heat up to over 200 degrees Fahrenheit, the Far Infrared Home Sauna only reaches a maximum of 150 degrees. The infrared technology allows the heat to penetrate even deeper into your body while eliminating the discomfort of extremely high temperatures. The air is fresh and steam-free as opposed to being humid and stale, and this sauna uses a fraction of the energy a traditional one uses. Because the temperatures are low enough to not affect electronics, the Far Infrared Home Sauna includes a sound system with CD player and a reading light.

Will Far Infrared Heat Therapy Work For Me?

Far Infrared Heat Therapy has been shown to work on people of all backgrounds. The range of benefits from this effective form of heat therapy can be felt regardless of skin type, physical disabilities or limitations, and athletic condition. Simply use the available types of Far Infrared Heat Therapy for 15 – 30 minutes per day and enjoy the benefits of a healthier lifestyle.

Warming Up To Far-InfraRed

D.J. Fletcher, Alternative Medicine, Issue 39 / January 2001

For many, the biggest news in FIR [Far-InfraRed] technology is its application to the evolving science of detoxification, and the device being used is the Far-InfraRed sauna. At home and in clinics, these saunas are said to yield many benefits– including relief from different kinds of pain; stimulation of immune response; improvement in skin tone and conditions such as burns, eczema and acne; and the accelerated burning of calories. But the detox application is health news that can benefit everyone. “Traditional wisdom has suggested that saunas work largely by promoting detoxification through sweat,” says John C. Cline, M.D., B.Sc., C.C.F.P, A.B.C.T., Medical Director of the Cline Medical Center and Oceanside Functional Medicine Research Institute, located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. ” Several published studies have now shown that this hyperthermic [sauna] therapy can bring about the rapid removal of a wide range of toxic substances from the human body.”

The FIR energy emitted in these saunas may induce two or three times the sweat volume of conventional saunas, yet they operate at a much cooler air temperature range: about 110 to 130 degrees F, compared with 180 to 235 degrees F in a conventional sauna. Many individuals who cannot tolerate a conventional sauna, steam room or sweat lodge will find FIR saunas pleasant. The lower heat range is also safer for those with cardiovascular risk factors or fragile health because lower temperatures don’t dramatically elevate heart rate or blood pressure.

Dr. Cline points out that methods to induce sweating have been used for centuries to bring about improved health and relief from disease. “Over 2,000 years ago,” he says, “the famous Greek physician, Parmenides, stated ‘give me a chance to create fever, and I will cure any disease.” This traditional wisdom has certainly stood the test of time. Using methods ranging from hot mineral baths and sweat lodges to saunas and steam baths, individuals have enjoyed the revitalizing effects of induced hyperthermia– the artificial elevation of body temperature.

” Sweat therapy has also been used for many years by miners in Europe to prevent and treat occupational heavy metal poisoning, and studies have now demonstrated that hyperthermic therapy can bring about significant detoxification from heavy metals including mercury. But only in recent years has science begun to seriously examine this age-old healing technique. Now, organizations such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency have taken a serious look at hyperthermic therapy as a means to detoxify individuals who are ill from exposure to environmental poisons.”

Randy Gomm of Infrared Sauna, based in Vancouver, became a distributor of FIR saunas after his life was turned around by detoxification. As a firefighter, his health had begun to deteriorate until he was no longer able to work. He was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, and eventually it was realized that the root of his problem was toxic overload due to environmental exposure. During the eight years he was ill, he says, he had a lot of time to research alternative modalities to regain his health. “I discovered that leading researchers in fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome stated that their patients had high toxic loads,” says Randy. “When their loads were reduced, their symptoms often improved dramatically. It worked for me. Detoxing really helped put me back on my feet.”

Environmental medical specialist Doris J. Rapp, MD, of Scottsdale, Arizona, a well-known pediatrician, allergist, homeopath and past president of the American Academy of Environmental Medicine, states unequivocally, “Everybody in this country needs to be detoxified because we’ve all become toxic dumpsites.” Dr. Rapp began using a Far-InfraRed sauna personally after seeing a similar procedure being employed in a German clinic. She was impressed with the clinic’s work in detoxifying young children and infants. Dr. Rapp affirms that her FIR sauna causes her to perspire profusely, and she adds, “I’m hoping to see more patient outcome studies on FIR sauna use– studies that will further evaluate the efficacy of this treatment and impartially evaluate the various saunas.”

Hyperthermic detoxification using these saunas is not only uniquely helpful in removing fat-stored toxins from the body but also as an adjunct to mercury removal. Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt, M.D., of Seattle, who has been called “the holistic doctors’ doctor and teacher,” is one of the pioneers in combining the use of FIR saunas with the chelating agent DMPS in a heavy metal detox protocol.

Dr. Cline explains, “Since hyperthermic sauna therapy removes metal contaminants from the body by a different mechanism than chelation therapy we have found that it may be used to further the benefits derived from chelation therapy. And we have also found that it may be an alternative for those who are unable to undergo chelation.

” Research conducted by U.S. scientists has demonstrated that close to 80% of individuals with chronic fatigue syndrome will improve markedly by a guided detoxification program. The program involves nutritional optimization of detoxification using a low-allergy diet and UltraClear Plus, a medical food product designed at the Functional Medicine Research Center in Washington. This approach, called enterohepatic resuscitation, is being used by healthcare practitioners around the world. We combine this approach with hyperthermic therapy using the Far-InfraRed sauna, as well as exercise and chelation. The results we are seeing are very promising.”

Tissue Cleansing & Your Health… “Many of the illnesses facing modern society have strong links to the environment. Cancer rates are rising every year with all fingers pointing at the lifestyles and environment of our population. Diseases virtually unheard of twenty years ago, such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia, now exist in epidemic numbers and these numbers continue to rise with each passing year. Many people wonder why they feel exhausted, their head seems to be in a fog, and they so frequently have to live with pain. The stress of accumulated toxic substances may be a primary factor in the poor health of millions of North Americans. There are now hundreds of thousands of toxic chemicals released into the environment daily. Heavy metals, pesticide and herbicide residues, solvent residues and by-products of fossil fuel combustion can be found in significant measurable quantities in the bodies of virtually every human on this planet. A scientifically based program of therapeutic detoxification can bring about enormous improvements in health, vitality and brain function. This past decade has seen great advancements in the science of therapeutic detoxification and effective programs are being developed worldwide at reputable environmental medicine clinics.

Saunas and steam baths have been used for centuries by cultures around the world to induce detoxification. Traditionally, saunas have been used to improve mental clarity, to diminish pain and promote longevity. In the past few years, Hyperthermic [sweat] therapy has been studied quite extensively and several papers on this subject have appeared in the scientific literature. Through this research, it has been shown that saunas greatly assist in the elimination of accumulated toxins. Toxic metals including mercury, as well as organic toxins such as PCB’s and pesticide residues, are excreted in high quantities in the sweat during properly conducted Hyperthermic therapy sessions.

Heat causes toxins to be released from cells. The toxic molecules will then reside transiently in the lymph fluid. Since sweat is manufactured from the lymph fluid, toxins present in the lymph fluid will exit the body through the sweat. The liver and kidneys are not required for this process thus, these organs are largely unburdened by Hyperthermic therapy, and toxins are able to leave the body even when liver or kidney function is impaired. This may be a distinct advantage for chronically ill patients whose livers and kidneys may already be under toxic stress.”

Advantages of the Far-InfraRed Sauna:”Many people with chronic illnesses find the high temperatures inside a regular sauna or steam room intolerable. In these traditional systems, the inside of the body is heated completely from the surface of the skin. Even though you feel very hot in these units, the heating is quite shallow – only a few millimeters below the skin. In the Far-InfraRed sauna, invisible light rays emanate from several Far-InfraRed emitters. This Far-InfraRed light penetrates deep into the fat and muscles of the body, creating a more powerful detoxifying influence upon the deeper tissues of the body. As well, since the air temperature remains much lower than in a traditional sauna, the individual feels more comfortable. Sweating often begins before the person feels very hot at all and the sweating is more profuse than in a traditional sauna”.

Long Wave Infrared Rays / Far Infrared Rays (FIR)

from Luxury Health Sciences

Introduction

For centuries, scientists have known that plants are dependent upon sunlight for photosynthesis. But, only recently has science recognized the similarities between humans and plants in their dependence upon light. From past experience we have learned that Long Wave Infrared Rays are beneficial, however we did not understand the principles of Long Wave Infrared Rays. The secret of placing a warm tile on our stomach and rubbing it when we had pain, the nice relaxed feeling we have after sleeping in a warm bed, the good flavor charcoal or natural stone gives barbecue food, or the healing of diseases by clay sauna are all the results of the utilization of Long Wave Infrared Rays or Far Infrared Rays.

Far Infrared Technology (FIR) was first brought to us by nature. We generally would get our daily dose of infrared from sunlight, which is composed of all the energy wavelengths in the electromagnetic spectrum. NASA discovered FIR in the 1960s as a way to keep the astronauts healthy in the darkness of space. The wavelengths of FIR are too long for our eyes to see, but we experience them as gentle radiant heat. At the molecular level, FIR exerts strong rotational and vibrational effects that are biologically beneficial, unlike the damaging effects of short wavelengths such as X-rays and gamma rays. Today, we know that energy from the sun’s rays, photons, controls vital processes in both plants and people. In humans, photons are the catalyst for the production of sugars, fats, and proteins.

Photons stimulate the endocrine system, metabolic processes and enzyme reactions as well as activities in the brain. When this connection is disturbed, disorders follow. For example, when enzymes in the body’s cells, which should normally be activated, fail to receive the proper wavelengths of light, they remain dormant. As a result, they cannot start up normal, cellular metabolic reactions. This translates into lower cellular energy, glandular insufficiencies and reduced ability to burn fats and toxins. Understanding Long Wave Infrared Rays Solar energy from the sun covers a broad energy band including infrared, visible light, ultra-violet, x-rays and gamma rays. Only a small amount of these solar rays are visible as colors. The greatest amount of the sun’s energy output is in the infrared segment of the spectrum. This band of light is not visible but can be felt as heat.

During research of the heat effect of the seven colors, it was found that the temperature rises when the color changes from purple toward red, and even without color after passing red. This light (with a strong heat function) was named Long Wave Infrared Rays. The infrared segment of the electromagnetic spectrum is divided into three segments by wave frequencies and wavelengths. The infrared ray is an electronic wave, which is a sort of energy wave, and is a light within the wavelength level of 0.761-1,000 micron. According to its wavelength, 0.76-1.5 micron is a short wave infrared ray, 1.5-5.6 micron is a middle wave infrared ray, and 5.6-1,000 micron is a Long Wave Infrared Ray that is the most useful infrared ray in our daily living. (Micron is 1M of one million.) A narrow spectrum between 4 to 14 microns has been shown to have particularly beneficial effects on the body. Among the total spectrum of solar rays coming from the sun, the FIR waves are the safest and the most beneficial.

For example, the visible light spectrum, with very short wave lengths, is reflected away from the body. When near (NIR) waves heat organic substances the surface gets hotter than the interior, and conduction from the surface heats the interior. By contrast, far infrared (FIR) penetrates deeply with a very uniform warming effect. The Function of Long Wave Infrared Rays Long Wave Infrared rays have three characteristics.

RADIATION Radiation is one of the general characteristics of light, and this means that light reaches an object without using the air. For example, the sun’s light reaches the earth through the vacuum of space radiation.
DEEP IMPACT POWER The second characteristic is the deep impact power. Different from ordinary light beams and short wave infrared rays, Long Wave Infrared Rays can penetrate deeply. Because of this, it can warm out body from the inside out, and stimulate our system.
RESONANCE & ABSORPTION This third characteristic can be explained by an example of touching a large bell with a single finger. A bell has an inherent number of vibrations when it is touched / struck. When the bell is struck at a regular interval it causes vibrations and it begins to move.

When the energy used to activate the bell is increased, the vibrations between molecules strengthens, and the electronic energy increases. The Effect of Long Infrared Rays on an Organism All humans send and receive FIR waves. The range of infrared waves generated by the body is 3 to 50 microns. The greatest output is around 9.4, which is very close to the resonant frequency of a water molecule. This similarity makes sense since our bodies consist of over 70% water, and a variety of other materials such as proteins, hormones, enzymes, and nerve tissue which all play an important role.

Any substances with similar resonance can absorb energy from each other easily. Consequently, when you are close to someone, you are both sending and receiving FIR energy. When heated, our planet emits FIR waves at around the 10-micron level, as do most organic substances and plants. The FIR waves between 4 to 14 microns, sometimes called Vital Rays, appear to have special regenerative effects on the body. Long Wave Infrared Rays not only warm our bodies, but they stimulate various bodily functions. They can make our bodies feel fully changed. When Long Wave Infrared Rays are beamed into the body, the body absorbs them and they resonate through it, similar to the sound and energy waves of the bell when it is struck.

Therefore, when any tissue in the body is exposed to FIR waves, whether radiated by sunlight, reflected by specially coated fabrics or ceramic panels, there is a rapid increase in warmth, which is shown by thermographs. This heat plus the activation of several other response mechanisms stimulates the healing processes. Long Wave Infrared Rays penetrate 14~15cm into the body. Therefore, these rays not only benefit the muscles on the surface of the body, but all cells including blood vessels, lymph glands, and nerves in the deepest parts of our body. These Long Wave Infrared rays provide a heat source that relieves shoulder pain, lumbago, and fatigue of body muscles. Moreover, perspiration helps expel unhealthy materials such as urea, nitrogen, uric acid, sodium, and chlorine that cause kidney infections and other problems.

-What is an Organism? An organism is an organic compound that we call a living body. When the shape, composition, and movement of this body are studied, we arrive at a biological evaluation. When we further study the movement of molecules within a cell to discover the characteristics of a living body this is called “cytology” or “microbiology”.

-What is a living body? Though chemical analysis of a living body, we find it is composed of the carbon, oxygen, hydrogen, potassium, nitrogen, phosphorous, and other basic elements that cannot be seen.

How Infrared Rays are Generated

NASA researched the isolation of FIR using expensive materials 45 years ago. Then in 1994, piezoelectric substances and mineral oxides made it cost effective. The generation of Infrared Rays is accomplished by coating a metallic or ceramic surface with special ceramic material that is mixed with mineral oxides such as silica (SiO2), alumina (Al2O3), etc. Depending upon the mixtures of the compounds, the surface can generate different wavelengths. When these coated metallic or ceramic surfaces are heated by means of conventional electric gas means, the surface generates Infrared Rays.

The method generating Infrared Rays is accomplished by passing an electric current through carbon. When an electric current flows through carbon, the carbon generates Infrared Rays. In practice, they impregnate cotton sheets with a special carbon compound, and let the current flow from one side to the other. Here again controlling the magnitude of electric current, or the duration of conduction time can regulate the amount of Infrared Rays generated by using a thermal sensor. They convert AC into DC first so that the carbon sheet does not generate 60 cycle-induced current for the user. Infrared Rays generating materials mixed with fabrics, paper, plastics, and ceramics.

As mentioned before, all surfaces radiate FIR waves as a function of surface temperature. However, this special compound of alumina (Al2CO3) and silica (SiO2) can convert any normal energy into Infrared Rays waves in a most efficient manner at room temperature, the materials containing these compounds will generate more Infrared Rays waves than ordinary materials.

Medical application FIR technology Realizing the Benefits Amethyst crystals have properties for emitting long wave infrared rays that penetrate the body 5 ½ – 6 inches. The rays not only benefit the muscles on the surface of the body but all the cells including blood vessels, lymph glands and nerves in deep parts of the body. These rays vitalize the biological function of our cells and increase circulation, relieve neuralgia, backache, and arthritis pain and eliminate carbon dioxide from our blood. One of the reasons FIR has beneficial results in a variety of illnesses are the ability of FIR waves to remove toxins, which are often at the core of many health problems.

Since humans are bio-accumulators, numerous toxins, which cannot be removed immediately after entry, are stored in our bodies. For example, when toxic gases such as sulfur dioxide, carbon dioxide or toxic substances such as lead, mercury or chlorine meet large water molecules, the clusters of water encapsulate them. Where these toxins are accumulated, blood circulation is blocked and cellular energy is impaired. However, when a 10-micron FIR wave is applied to these large water molecules, the water begins to vibrate. This vibration reduces the ion bonds of the atoms that are holding together the molecules of water. As the breakdown of the water molecules occurs, encapsulated gases and other toxic materials are released.

Diets and exercise do work to a certain extent, but there are scientific products developed in Japan that can help you get rid of the accumulated acidic toxins more easily and effortlessly. These products work no matter how busy you are, how old you are or how physically inactive you may be. As with diets and exercises, the results are not overnight; however, the process is the fastest among the methods using the natural process. The problem is that the acid accumulation in our body is slow and our body adapts to it, so that we do not notice the fact that we are getting sick and old. By the time one feels pain caused by the acid accumulation, the damage is severe. One must start the process of reducing acidic wastes before the pain starts.

In addition, FIR wave treatments have been used for cancer, chronic pain, stress, numbness, joint pain, rheumatism, low blood pressure, diabetes and asthma among others. The FIR wave speeds up cellular metabolic processes, like stimulating the activity of mitochondria, and triggering enzyme activity as well as the healing, regeneration and normalization of damaged cell tissue. Also light waves are essential for bone growth as well as preventing osteoporosis; regulating hormonal functions as well as immune function and are beneficial for those who cannot exercise outdoors.

The detoxification promotes pain relief, immune response, skin tone and helps normalize burns, eczema and acne. Additionally, FIR helps reduce muscle spasm through heat, improves lymph flow to reduce swelling and inflammation, and reduces soreness through direct action on both free nerve endings and peripheral nerves. The cellular level effect stimulates enzymatic activity, promotes the adhesion and osmosis of water molecules across the cell membrane, attracts calcium ions to the cell membrane, reduces lactic acid, and reduces general body acidity, while promoting collagen and elastin production within the basal cell layers.

Other benefits include improving the balance of blood pressure; blood sugar and oxygen increase in cells. In conjunction with a regimen of alkaline water consumption, the negative ions released by the FIR can prevent bone loss and remove toxins and acid from the body, helping with allergies, migraines, sinus problems, promote alpha brain waves for a calming effect, reduce neurosis and anxiety. FIR appears to potentiate white blood cell function, which provides increased immune defense response by absorbing bacteria and cell wastes. With the deep cellular level “massage” and toxin cleansing powers of FIR, much of the harmful materials that contribute to an array of problems are removed more rapidly, promoting overall health and well being. The use of a full body mat during a sleep cycle accomplishes these benefits at night, giving hours of therapy when the body is at its lowest stress level. Some people feel improvement in the body system in one day and others 2-3 months.

Far Infra Rays

from BioxRing

What is Far Infrared Rays?

When we talk about infrared rays, most people tend to think of the high-tech industry. Yet Far Infrared Rays has been present around us right from the first day that the sun’s rays hit the earth, and our body has benefited from these Far Infrared Rays since man’s first appeared on earth!

Our daily dose of infrared energy is obtained from sunlight which is made up of a mixture of wavelengths giving us a visible part and an invisible part.

The visible range consists of white light which is made up of the rainbow colours- red ,orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. The invisible part consists of different wavelengths- Ultra violet, X Rays, Gamma rays and Infrared rays among others Far infrared rays (FIR), though invisible, however have the property of making us feel warm – it is absorbed to a greater depth by our skin than conventional sunlight and has some unique heat producing effects in our body.

Imagine standing outside on a cool but sunny day and after a while a pleasant feeling of warmth is felt all over your body – this is the effect of the far infra red rays from the sun’s rays. Your body feels hot but the air around you remains refreshinly cool because it is not heated to the same extent as your body.

This happens because the special wavelengths of the FIR have the ability to stimulate the molecules in your body and this activation of the molecules makes the body heat up. However your body’s molecules will only accept FIR if they are of the same intrinsic vibration frequency as themselves ( 8-14 microns ).

This warming effect then generates a cascade of reactions in your body, your arteries get dilated and your circulation and metabolism dramatically improves with a better uptake and utilisation of nutrients.

On the elimination side, toxins associated with fatigue, wrong nutrition and polluted materials get removed at a much faster rate-the net effect is a healthier and more efficient cellular activity.

Far Infrared Rays Effects

Far infrared rays have been proved to have the following effects:

  • Activates the water molecules in the body
  • Increases the level of oxygen in the cells
  • Provides penetrating warmth
  • Improves circulation
  • Improves muscle tone and strength
  • Increases energy levels
  • Promotes regeneration and fast healing
  • Improves the autonomic functions of the nervous system
  • Reduces toxins & lactic acid build-up in the muscle tissue
  • Reduces fatty acids in the tissues
  • Reduces waste products from the cells
  • Helps in elimination of waste products from the cells

Now when we come to the field of healing we find that FIR play a very prominent role- and scientists have discovered that human beings have the power to emit FIR from their hands!!! Researchers in Taiwan have measured the energy Chi Kong masters emit from their palms with sophisticated electronic equipment and have been able to detect infra red energy which raises the temperature around the masters’ palms!!!

Anytime we get a hurt or a fall, we instinctively rub the painful part with our hands- what is happening is a massive flow of FIR into the damaged tissues to help circulation and speed up recovery.

In Japan at the Niwa Institute for immunology researchers examined both the palm energy of healers and materials that were known to emit FIR and demonstrated conclusively that these materials could dramatically increase immunity, and metabolic processes.

Further studies were carried out to identify materials that can emit FIR energy and some of the most popular products include tourmaline crystals, bio ceramics and various metallic oxides.

On a commercial basis FIR emitting materials are now being popularly use in thermal underwear, socks, saunas where its circulatory and temperature raising effects are put to good use.

The materials used to generate FIR in our Bioxring™ is the product of our research and it has given fantastic clinical results, In the Bioxring™ we are using a secret formula of FIR emitting materials that promote circulation and activate the cellular metabolism-making optimum use of oxygen and nutrients at the cellular level.

FIR have also an ionizing effect and this revitalise tired cells. The overall result is increased energy, vigour and stamina.

Occupational Therapy intervention is one of the most promising, results-oriented job-savers a person can experience within a lifetime.  A healthy, healing intervention saves jobs, restores hope, a worker’s self-confidence and self-esteem.  This story is about the loss of hand movement, and the positive results of an OT intervention.

Losing the function of a hand can be devastating, especially when the hand is needed to work at the computer all day.  Finding a new job is not easy and almost impossible in today’s economic situation.  Rehabilitating an injury is a lot of work.  Of the two choices, we choose rehabilitation.  The alternative of not holding a job isn’t an option.

The loss of the use of a person’s computer mouse hand due to arthritis and poor circulation can make everyday computer tasks painful and dreadful.  The pain from a sick computer mouse hand causes the hand to cramp, freeze and fingers become numb.  Pills aren’t always the solution and aren’t an attractive idea.  The only relief is not working, and it is not a suggested option.

Most occupational interventions rely upon ingenuity and creativity. For our computer mouse hand injury, we relied upon a mouse hand warmer blanket pouch to hold the computer mouse and mouse pad.  The blanket is made of fleece and covers the computer user’s hand completely creating a warm house for the mouse and mouse pad.  We inserted inside the mouse hand warmer blanket pouch an USB heated mouse and USB heated mouse pad to generate heat inside the blanket pouch housing.

The USB heated devices are designed with a carbon fiber.  Carbon fiber generates infrared heat.  Infrared heat is healing.  The sun is an example of the natural source of infrared heat.  The Eastern Medical profession has been using the healing effects of infrared heat for thousands of centuries.  The Western world is starting to catch on to the healing effects of infrared heat through infrared saunas and now occupational computer devices.

It is documented proof by therapists and physicians worldwide, 20-30 minutes per day of infrared heat has healing effects on an injury, in this case, of the hand. I conducted a 4 week study using a mouse hand warmer blanket, an infrared heated mouse and infrared heated mouse pad with a person who suffers with arthritis and poor circulation of the computer mouse hand.  After three weeks of 30 minutes of daily use, the right hand is healed.  There’s no cold, cramp, pain or discomfort in the person’s right mouse hand.

The use of the hand for computer related work is not going to fade or go away soon.  As a matter of fact, the occupational related hand injuries will increase based on the continued widespread computer use activity.  The first computer mouse turned 40 years old in 2008, and introducing the healing effects of infrared heated computer mouse and mouse pad is being made in 2009.  We’ve come a long way, and we have a long road ahead.
